Planning for the Fourth Trimester Course

A 5-class Series for Mothers + Families to Prepare for the Postpartum Period

The first 4 classes of this series happen prenatally, ideally when you are between 20 -- 35 weeks gestation and with your partner/support person. We will tend to:

The 5 Essentials of Postpartum Healing

Get clear on what will nourish and support your body, mind, and spirit in the postpartum period so you can plan for and center your healing

Creating and Fortifying Your Support Networks

Define who you desire to receive support from in this tender time, set intentions, and identify specific requests to invite and activate your community's care

Developing Your Unique Postpartum Plan

With your partner/support person, sketch out the care you want to prioritize in the postpartum time and what this will look like for you and your family

The fifth and final class happens when all participants are 6+ weeks postpartum. We will tend to:

Witnessing Your Transformation

After seeing and hearing one another deeply in pregnancy, we come together again to be seen and heard in our postpartum transformations

Celebrating Each Family in Community

We take time to honor a piece of your story - celebrating what you wish to celebrate, honoring what you wish to honor, holding you in all that is emerging

A Closing Ritual to Honor Our Time Together

Participate in a community ritual to bring a layer of completion to our rites of passage into Motherhood/Fatherhood and this course

About Your Teacher

Torrey is an INNATE Postpartum Care - Certified Practitioner with a background in interfaith spiritual care. She's also expecting her 3rd child in early September 2024! This cohort of Planning for the Fourth Trimester students will be learning from and with Torrey as she applies the principles she has learned to preparing for her own postpartum time.
